Jet America Offering $9 Flights

Turns out Jet America is creating some internet buzz by offering $9 flights:

The StarTribune has an interesting article covering the topic.  The “Cranky Flier” blog has another interesting article about the new airline titled:  Is Air Azul, er, Jet America the Return of SkyBus? Jaunted has also been covering this topic.

The claim of $9 air fair is hard to believe.  Although they obviously claim that it’s “Not A Gimmick”, you can easily read the legal text and rest assure, you’ll be paying much more then $9.  In fact, after tacking on all the fees you’ll be paying roughly $44.60 one way.
