Taco Bell’s Drive Thru Diet is a Joke Right?

Taco Bell has made a bold step to improve it’s appeal by trying to market itself as a “healthy alternative”. It recently initiated a marketing campaign entitled “Drive Thru Diet” and can be found at DriveThruDiet.com. The LA Times and an interesting article explaining the seemingly impossible claim of providing a diet through the drive thru. Basically by “making healthy choices” in addition to eating select menu items you could potentially lose weight. The substantial difference in menu items is their decission to replace 100 calorie shredded cheddar cheese with 10 calorie salsa.
I just hope that Taco Bell is not socially accepted as a “healthy alternative” anytime in the near future. People know better right?
