Google Wave – New Google App
Thursday, May 28th, 2009 | General
Looks like Google is at it again with a new cutting edge application. Google Wave is said to provide a communication service that’s collaborated upon by multiple users. Announced at Google I/O Keynote May 27th Google Wave offers a way for people to “communicate and work together with richly formatted text, photos, videos, maps and more.”
Google Wave allows you to create a wave and add people onto it. Everyone on your wave can add resources, weather it’s text, pictures or videos. Much like Facebook’s “wall” Google Wave will allow people to comment and interact at real time (through AJAX)
Also announced at Google I/O:
- Google Web Elements – Adding Google products to your website or blog has never been easier.
- Android Developer Challenge II – Win awards for building great apps on Android.
- App Engine Java – Out of preview and open for signups.
